But the two fighters that stand above the rest in the world are Floyd Mayweather and Many Paquiao. These two athletes are well known around the world and respected by boxing fans. There are a lot of arguing going on between fans and experts about which fighter is the best and who will take that number one pound for pound spot in the ranking table.In this essay I will compare two most talked fighters in boxing today. Both of these fighters, Mayweather and Paquiao have similar background. They both came from dysfunctional families and lived in poverty. Both were raised in single parent household. How ever by working hard and dedicating themselves they achieved a lot. Both became multiple weight category champions and earned a lot of money and gave us fans action packed fights.On the other side, the main difference between them is the styles. Floyd Mayweather is pure boxer. He boxes and moves without getting hit. He is considered the best defensive fighter since Joe Louis. Being so defensive and have the best boxing skills brings a lot of hate from fans. Many critics criticize him for fighting wicker opposition, which keeps him undefeated. Paquiao is complete opposite. He fights very aggressive which fans love. He is more of a boxer brawler he comes forward to knock your head off. At times he fights reckless which cause him to get knock out his last fight. Also experts consider Paquiao to be better than Mayweather because he fought better fighters and set a record for being eight division world champion. In conclusion here is some of the similarities and differences between two great fighters of this era.
