The importance of researching and taking college exams. To me, these main points are important because it helped me understand how even though I hate taking notes and studying I need to. That I dont need to over work myself, just plan accordingly for study time. How I must improve my writing skills. I came to the realization, which no matter what everyone needs help, so seek it. Use the resources around you. As well as, being in school because I want to, will help motivate myself. Work towards a goal, not because some one is forcing me to. That the higher you get in education, say a master degree in Sociology the more money you earn. The thing to consider about that is whether or not Sociology sparks an interest in you. The last and most important point to me was researching, I know I hate it. There is no other way around it though College involves a lot of research. May it be for a paper, for an exam, even to find the right degree for myself. It actually made me sit there and think about whether I want to pursue a degree in Engineering. I did some research and yes, I do. In conclusion, the book was very well written and easy to understand. I like how he addresses the audience. It is obvious that he aimed for a group of students, which may be in the 12th grade or first year of College. It highlights the key concepts for being able to succeed in college in a clear manner.
